Funny NSV
best kind of nsv! I was at a wedding last weekend and I went up to a girl and her mother who I've known casually for the past 7 years. I hadn't seen them in the last year. They had no idea who I was. I told her I was "heidi from the paper" the girl was ong! you look great! The mom said "but you weren't a red head before" I told her yes my hair was now red but I'm also 135 pounds lighter. It's funny because the daughter saw the size difference the mom never noticed. Good times!

Great story, Karen. But what was even funnier (in an odd way) was that for all the success that this tale heralded, you knocked it down by worrying that you hadn't lost any weight this week. So ironic.

I know, you're right. But I have it in my head that I need to get as small as I can as quickly as I can because I'm heading back to the States in six weeks to see my family. They haven't seen me since June (or in my mom's case, May). So they don't know about the weight loss or hair color change. At this point, I'm nearly two weeks without any shift in weight, which is the longest I've plateaued since having surgery. It's a little frustrating because I've been good calorie-wise (less than 1,000/day) and my trainer has been kicking my butt! :-) I know it'll shift eventually, but I get impatient.
