Broken Ankle
I was thinking the same thing..... OP ~ make sure you look into what happens in the future if your ankle gives you problems and you need more medical coverage for it

Oh that sucks! Sorry you're having to deal with this.
I second the above posts: elevate as much as possible, call Dr for better pain control (you shouldn't have to suffer), and push for the store to cover your medical costs and any wages lost if you cannot work.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Oh dear heavens! I feel so terribly for you and hope that you were given something to help you sleep so at least you can be well rested as you heal!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
I am not a advocate of suing, but pain and suffering, missed work, loss of services at home, is calculated for a reason.
When all your medical bills are in, multiple them x5 and that is a reasonable figure to start with.
Most of the time they are MORE than willing to work with you to keep the lawyers out of it.
Sorry about your ankle........
