Losing hair....need ideas for new haircut
It is...but it is also hard. There are quotas/production and the rate of attrition (people being forced to leave or fired during lack of production). Not one of those jobs where you get to read the newspaper.
So basically, like Pres. Kennedy "I choose to do this because it is hard!!!"
Hahaha!
Thanks for the kind comments. I assure you, I am much more boring in real life. My hobbies are reading, going to the gym, gourmet/light cooking (succulent moist chicken is my feat), bell-choir at church, cross-stitch and now machine sewing of clothes. I have cat children. I also get obsessed with my hobbies or cat children.
Last night my poor fiancee was over for dinner (butter chicken) and checking out Old Betsy (my 1960s sewing machine inherited from my Grandma). Old Betsy and I had been up until 2 am the night before working on a black velvet skirt. With jealousy he said, "So, THIS is Old Betsy." :)

I just recently started the journey of getting all the test done etc to see if I qualify for the gastric sleeve WLS. Through my research I found that a lot of people lost hair after surgery. I have very fine thin hair now and am terrified of losing any more hair. If I had a thik full head of hair it probably wouldn't bother me. But with such fine hair as it is, this may be the deal breaker as to whether-or-not i go through with the surgery or not. Is the hair loss due to not being able to take in enough protein. Any honest and real information anyone can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
-@deactivated- Some hair thinning is due to age and is a side effect of high blood pressure meds. I recollect someone telling me (either my NP, the nutritionist or someone on this board) that the hair fall is from the anesthetic used for the surgery and should grow back.
I was in a clinical study and got to my smallest weight (i.e. 140 lbs). I had tremendous hair fall, along with other participatents. It grew back in, however it is not the same as when I was a teen ager!!!
