Back on shakes?
Do you ever just get completely tired of eating? I feel like I don't want ANYTHING that I can have. It's not even that I want other things (well, maybe I miss nachos), but I just don't want food.
I think for a while I'll go back to shakes a few times a day and maybe 1 meal. Otherwise, no matter how hard I try, I'm just not getting enough food in. Yesterday and the day before I was around 400 calories and 30 grams of protein. (I'm 3 months out - 700 calories/70 grams of protein is my goal)
Is this normal? Am I handling it correctly? Is it going to go away?

There are definitely days that I just feel blah and don't want to be bothered with cooking or eating. Especially on stressful/busy days...It's during those times I turn to shakes and a quest bar, take my vitamins, and just leave it at that. That way I cover my bases nutritionally and I can focus on everything else that is going on. I think it's normal...
Maybe that's part of the problem, too. I've been working SO hard at work and home this week. Food just isn't a priority (crazy!).
I just worry that with going to the gym and everything, I'm going to send my body into starvation mode because I'm not getting enough. That seems like an awful way to stall!

On busy days I sometimes have three shakes and a cheese or yogurt snack. Yes, it is nice when you can sit down and spend 30 minutes enjoying a meal that you are eating slowly and meaningfully, but I'd rather have a shake than get used to slamming down meals quickly again.

A few years ago, personal trainers started telling their clients that they would go into starvation mode if they worked out and did not eat enough calories.
That is basically a myth and smart trainers are no longer telling people that. Starvation mode kicks in when the body has lost all of its fat reserves and there is only protein left. That is at about 5% body fat for a man and about 10% for a woman.
If you still have more than 10% of BMI, then you are not going to enter starvation mode. Your body does not really care whether you get your food from liquids or solids. Most of us feel full longer on solids.
There have been many periods when I existed on shakes, yogurt, quest bars and did not cook. I live alone and only have to prepare food for myself. I did not go into starvation mode and am always about 25 BMI. I do lose a few pounds if I stay away from eating for a few months.
