I now know why I keep developing kidney stones. This is going to be tricky...

Thanks, Hala.  I will take a look at it.  With my history of blood clots and temperamental INR/PT levels on the Coumadin, I have to be cautious about Vit K supplementations.  Another balancing act!

Glad you found out what the cause was. My 11 year old son is on Hydrochlorothiazide for his kidney stones. He has been on this med the last 4 years & has done very well with it & the diet, so no more stones as of yet. Hang in there you can make the changes, because you have done it before with WLS. Best of luck!

That is what he has me on.  FWIW, this urologist said I should expect to be on it for two years, then off for 6-9 months because it becomes significantly less effective after about 2 years (and then is again effective after the break).

Thanks for letting me know that. I will have to check with his Dr here about that. Hopefully now you can keep the stones forming.
