If they are horse pills you can always buy a pill cutter and cut it into 2, 3 or 4 pieces. My multivitamins are huge and I never had a problem with them

Oh no! Feel better! Make sure you get in extra water if you can, to help your bladder.

This not being able to swallow pills is a new thing because I don't remember it ever coming up years ago ...  I've been swallowing them since day one and never had a problem!   They try and make us seem so precious these days ...

I do always take pills with food though - anything like that on an empty stomach makes me feel devil

ETA:  And don't forget the probiotics if you are going to be on heavy duty antibiotics or you'll be back here in a couple of weeks saying you are having stomach problems!!!!

I'm at the end of my third week out, and I take several pills with no problem.  The only one I've tried that gave me a problem was a calcium supplement.  That was a miserable 12 hours - the pill was just too big and took forever to dissolve.  But capsules and small-average size pills go down with no problem.  I'm sorry to hear about your bladder infection - those are miserable!!  I hope you'll find something that works for you so you can start feeling better soon!!

I take medication that is in pill-form and I do fine with it. Also, I'm still taking my 30 days of prilosec that my doc prescribes after surgery, and it's a capsule. Hope you feel better!
