dizzy spells
I have them a lot also. My surgeon attributes them to blood pressure and dehydration due to the heat in recent months. I usually have them the most when I am bending over or if I get up too quickly. Sometimes on a really hot day if I am outside, it will happen too. I just sit down and drink some water and they usually subside quickly. I have never had any episodes while driving thankfully. Be careful and definitely talk to your doctor. Best wishes on your journey :)

Even at my heaviest, my blood pressure was low. Now it is VERY low and I have to add sodium to my diet daily. I also stand from a sitting position in a three part stand. I remain bent at the waist as I straighten my legs. When I feel no dizzy sensation I rise up 2/3 of the way and after no dizzy sensation, stand fully erect. If I have just sat down and quickly returned to standing I don't typically have to do this, but even a 5 minute seated position can mean I need to do this. I have actually blacked out from jumping up out of my seat to go do something, so now I am pretty careful!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
I had this happen for two different reasons. The first time, my blood pressure was too low but HOORAY, I'm off all BP meds. The second time was a year out when my nutritionist slashed too much protein from my diet. She gave me hypoglycemia. You may want to have your sugar checked or check it yourself when these dizzy spells come on.
Good luck!
