Got my Fitbit Anyone want to be friends?

Got my fitbit today and I know that it will work so much better if I am connected to some people on it. My boyfriend got one too because he is trying to lose the 40lbs he's put on since we moved in together but would love to have more people to motivate me :)

Which kind did you get?  I have been looking into them and can't decide if I should go ahead and get it or not!  I am leaning towards the Flex.....

I just got the flex. I like it because I can wear it all the time and don't have to worry about losing it.

Thanks - I have read about the different ones and I don't think I would be good about remembering to put it on everday consistently.

We both got the flex and are having a lot of fun with it trying to get the activity level to go up. Its nice the app tracks activity and allows you to track intake of food and water it totals up your protein carbs and fat so its kinda nice. :)

Through the full site on the computer you can send emails to individuals to add them as friends. 

Are they really worth the money? I seen a post about wearing all the time, can you really? I am really really bad about being terribly sweaty all the time. Naturally it is MUCH worse when I exercise any at all. I am kind of interested in the Fitbit things, but cannot afford something I am going to ruit by sweating all over t. Also is it possible to wear one while swimming?

I only have the Fitbit Zip (cheapest) but I love it. It is sweat proof and water resistant so you wouldn't be able to wear it swimming.

The flex is only water resistant so I don't know if it can handle swimming. Shower and dish washing is fine so far. Sweated all over it during a 5k this weekend. I'm more concerned about the smell. I used to wear those rubber bracelets that everyone gives out and those stink after a while. I'll have to google how to clean it.
