What would you eat with bean dip?

So I want to make a small portion of bean dip or maybe make like a taco dip but with chicken or something similar for my bf and I for the football game on Sunday but I'm not sure what would even be something decent to use as a dipper. Any suggestions? Also any suggestions for an alternative dish? I just want something new and fun that isn't veggie sticks or cheese/turkey pepperoni. Thanks!

Wasa multi grain crackers are good, not sure how limited in the carbs department you are by your plan, but I'm allowed 1 large wasa cracker with hummus on it, so should work well for bean dip. You could break it up and use that.

I make the faux "chips". Parchment paper, add small piles of sharp cheddar (or cheese of choice) and microwave for a minute or two or until they crisp. I also take either a low carb tortilla or one of the italian style light wraps and crisp in the toaster oven and cut into chips size pieces. Buffalo chicken dip is really good and it tastes just fine on celery sticks or stuffed into baked jalapeno or bell peppers.

Zuchinni chips would be a really good option. You slice them super thin then spray with a little pam spice and bake till crispy. If you dont want a veggie chip prior to surgery I loved the crunchmaster quinoa crackers they have some protein in them and no gluten so no expansion in the pouch.

Also if your a fan of buffalo chicken you can do shredded chicken, low or fat free cream cheese, buffalo sauce or hot sauce, and either goat of blue cheese in a small crockpot as a dip super high in protein and low carbs .

I am still new post op but these are things I ate when I was losing with my band before..

My bf works every other weekend so on the weekends he has off I'm going to make a different treat for the game. Buffalo chicken dip is definitely on the list. I love all these ideas. I'm going to try the zucchini I think this weekend and if I do buffalo chicken instead I'll prob cut up some celery too. Thanks for all the great ideas!! Keep 'em coming!!

I would use a tiny spoon to savor every bite.

I found some hummus crisps. They have a little protein (3g) and are 90 calories/serving. They're nice and strong to hold up to dipping. I've been having 1/2 a serving with my chili and pretending it's nachos.

You've gotten some great ideas!   Personally I would add hamburger meat and eat it with a fork.  However, I MUST try the cheese crisps soon.
