I reached 2 years OUT yesterday.......

......and I forgot all about it!!  Is it possible that I am at the new good normal?  I guess so.  I fixed breakfast for B&B guests and didn't eat it except to taste for seasoning.  We had some time to get acquainted and then we showed them Historic Yount's Woolen Mill that we own, took photos, and then I worked for hours in the daylily garden.  I could never of done that 2 years ago. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Yountsville-Mill-INN-BB/10320 7906397487  A lot of work goes into it.

Tonight we will have our 54th anniversary dinner of steak, salad, corn on the cob ( it is Indiana where the corn and tomatoes are the best in the world).  Don't worry, I've learned portion control in the last two years.  Our anniversary was the 29th but we were too busy to have our steak then.

My advice for newbies:  keep focused on change for the better,  keep busy, get out and exercise, socialize, take care of yourself, and finally...be positive.

Cheers.

Congratulations. Sounds like you are living the good life. I'm a newbie so not so optimistic at this point. That's why I love reading stories like yours.

Congratulations on both counts! It is wonderful to be able to do things now that we could not have done before.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
