Calcium Citrate (non-chewable) brand suggestion pls?
I use the Upcal D powder (about 100 doses for about $12 or so) or the Vit D capsules from Vitamin Shoppe. The capsules are liked of big, but the gelatin coating dissolves very quickly in water and because the capsule is flexible, I find them more comfortable to swallow than calcium pills. You will have to take three pills per dose though (giving you about 600mg of calcium).

Spring Valley (Walmart) has 315 mg calcium citrate tablets with vit D. The bottle has 300 tablets for around $8.00. I take 4 of those and 2 BA caramel chewy bites (spread throughout the day). This gives me 1760 mg of calcium a day.
You won't find a pill you can swallow that is 500 mg - it would be a HUGE pill. Most calcium citrate pills are 315 mg per pill. And I just use the generic store brand wherever I find it cheap, like Kroger or Walmart.
