Tuesday Morning and Ross sometimes have great deals on great thread counts. I scored a wonderful Ralph Lauren down comforter with a 400 thread count cover, which I have covered with a beautiful duvet I found at bed bath and beyond. To me, it extends the life of the down and if you have a pup like I do, once in a blue moon they sneak in with mud paws. Its a lot easier to wash a cotton duvet than a down comforter. I have to say the sheets I got on sale at Target and they are 800 thread count Wamsutta's. If you watch the sales, you can get good deals on some luxurious textures.

Dancing my way to better health,

Tara

I'm an Overstock.com fan. I've gotten several sets of 400 tc sateen sheet sets from them and they've been fantastic. Plus I've never paid over $40.00 for the sets and they usually come with 4 pillow cases!

Linen source has some nice things. Pretty good prices too.

Oh... I actually think I have a catalog from them in my recent "stack".  (When I get insomnia, I sometimes take a bubble bath and look at catalogs in the rub, LOL.)  thanks!

Third time will HOPEFULLY be the charm!

In our city home, we have Frette on all the beds except the master, we went with D. Porthault and LOVE them!

At the lake, we have Sferra on all the beds, except the master, which ironically enough, has Frette. :)

There are not words enough to describe how wonderful they are. Truly and amazingly WONDERFUL!
