How much weight did you lose before you needed new clothes?
I started out in 24s and have lost 18 lbs since surgery and 27 in total counting pre-op thus far. Some of my 24 pants were too tight and I can get into them now. The ones that still were fitting surgery day are not anywhere near too loose to wear. I am also fitting in some 24 tops that I refused to wear because they looked so bad. Have no idea when I will change sizes.

I was in a 28 in some items, mostly 26s at my first appt. Between my first appt and my surgery I lost 25ish pounds. I was able to wear 26 or 24, but it was not a huge difference. And then getting down to a 22, I had to lose a LOT. But I have only lost 25 lbs and gone from a 22 to a 16!
My theory is this--the fitted clothing of the smaller sizes you go through more quickly, and the larger 'tenty' sizes that sort of hang on your body, stay in place much longer.
I saw the same thing happen to my husband. 54 pants and 3 or 4 x shirts and just belt notches of change. And then a drop. And then boom, boom, boom!
He now is in a 34 slim cut pant and either a medium or large shirt, depending on the maker. The character tees (like from The Big Bang Theory) at Target he wears an XL sometimes, but they are lower quality and shrink like crazy!
Beware--I have always been a shopper, but it is almost getting out of hand. I am shopping pretty much 6 days a week. Eeeeeck!
