It's actually here!! Surgery in the morning.
I am so excited to have completed my preop liquid diet. I actually followed it with no cheating I know that it being for my health helped but still can't believe I haven't had solid food in 18 days. I am down about 14lbs yay!
Had a panic attack last night at the thought of surgery but am taking it with a grain of salt as I know it's normal. I am packing my bag for the morning and praying for a safe surgery and smooth recovery. I look forward to coming back and posting as a post op.
So glad to get rid of this horrible band and have a tool that will work.
Thank you all for your help with this journey and coming to this decision revise.

I was very nervous before and had lots of anxiety. They did give me something to take te edge off before rolling me back. I was much better than I thought I'd be as I was very panicky before hand. When they did wheel me back I just took deep breaths and kept thinking...everything is going to go great.....everything is going to go great... And it did. I was prepared for the worst just in case but 3 months later no issues. I've never even been sick! After the first week I felt pretty good by the end of 3 it was like nothing ever happened except of course I was eating differently. Just follow your doctors plan and call them if you have questions or concerns and keep us posted. You'll do GREAT!

You'll do great! When I was having a bit of a freak out, I imagined myself thin, wearing the clothes I want to be able to wear, reminding myself WHY I was doing this in the first place. I woke up from the surgery in recovery and kept thinking when will it be my turn? That's some good drugs I tell ya. Let us know how you are getting along. Get up and walk as soon as you can, even if it's just to the bathroom! Just remember you are totally worth it!
