chewable iron storage

I live in a very humid area.  My iron is becoming soft and sticking together.  Other than storing it in the fridge, does anyone have any suggestions.

Have you tried just storing it in an airtight container in a cool, dimly lit place?

I keep it in the container it comes in which is airtight.  Do you mean put the bottle in another airtight container.  My husband suggested putting it in a container of rice to soak up the moisture.

This has been happening to me as well.  Kinda gross and I have no idea how to keep it from happening.  Can it be stored in the freezer do you know, or will this compromise the integrity of the vitamin????

i called Bariatric Advantage today.  They said I could store it in the refrigerator and it doesn't compromise the vitamin.

The Bariatric Advantage is also the one I use, that is getting kinda gross.  I will most definitely keep it in the refrigerator going forward.  Thanks for making that call, and for sharing the information!!!!

I live in a very humid area and keep the moisture absorbing packet in the vitamins and have had no issue. But I only buy a 1 month bottle and go through them in a month. I would not buy one that was going to take me longer than that.

HTH!

I keep the moisture packet in the vitamins and they still go bad.  Unfortunately I bought a 6 month supply of the stuff. Since it doesn't effect the vitamins I will finish this bottle. In the future I will buy a smaller bottle.

thank you
