Initital NUT consult

Actually she was an RD :)  She was great, gave me tons of info and some goals. She weighed me as well and I'm down 5.4 pounds since my surgeon consult last Monday! I paid more attention this last week and I used my fitness pal to track everything. I'm excited to be starting so strong! Now to keep it up...

Yay! 5.4 pounds in a week is AWESOME! Way to go!!!!

 

Thanks! I have 6 months to lose as much as possible before surgery...hoping to get down at least 35 pounds but really it could be more if I really work hard.

That's great news!! Are you waiting 6 months because of your insurance??

Thanks! Yes, my insurance requires 6 months...well actually they do have a 90 day multi- disciplinary program you can do but my surgeons office didn't seem to know about it. Maybe I will call their insurance person. I feel like 6 months is such a long time! I know it would be good to really lose some weight during that time though so idk what to do!
