Tomorrow I am 4 weeks out. Last Thursday my surgeon cleared me to exercise in any fashion I wish as long as I wasn't in pain. Before surgery I used to run and I actually enjoy it..more so then just walking..I have been itching to pop my ear phones in and run until my hearts content for a couple of weeks now.  Needless to say Sunday evening during one of my many spells of hyperactivity (only since WLS) I got on my treadmill intended on going for a walk and said what the heck lets give running a whirl. I only went one mile and it most certainly wasn't my fastest mile..but I clocked in at 14:19. Today I ran again and shaved 35 seconds off my previous time. It won't be long before I am back to 12 min or less per mile. This makes me ecstatic.. since I figured it would be months before I was able to run again.

I hope everyone else is feeling great today!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
