Going to a waterpark on thursday and scared of "weight limits"

So here in Ohio there is a water park connected to Cedar Point called Soak City and its awesome!  I've been there before and loved it.  Well, I haven't been to an amusement park or a water park in probably 15 years and I am super excited but still really nervous.  Right now I am a size 22 and about 264 lbs.  I really wanna do some of the water slides but I am fearful of getting turned away because of my size.

I looked everywhere for weight limits and there really weren't any.  I guess that I will find out when I get there.  All I have to say is that if I am still too big for water slides and inner tube slides then I will be floating on the lazy river all day.  I am okay with that.  There are a few really cool wave pools too.

Anyone have any experiences with water parks or amusement parks?  I can't wait to ride some coasters but I am waiting until October.  By then I am hoping to be down to at least 240.

Regardless, I am still gonna have a great time!

Hey!
I have never been to Cedar Park (although...I have heard it is the BEST).  BUT...my experience with Universal and Disney World in Orlando:  I went last summer, and weighed roughly 350 at the time.  There were a couple of rides at the amusement parks that I was too big to fit into, however...the water parks we went to  at the time (Blizzard Beach and Wet n' Wild), there wasn't a single slide or ride that I was turned away from.

I know it's not Cedar Point, but maybe it's the same way.

I'm an amusement park junkie...so jealous, and HAVE FUN!

I agree...Went to Disney this past Spring weighing roughly 300. Made it on everything. To be honest, I've never not fit on any water ride....With her being 264, I wouldn't be concerned one bit about weight limits...

I admire and love your attitude of acceptance. I don't think you will be turned away, you're not as big as you think you are.   Hope you will have a great time !

Hey, water park rides are on my "new me bucket list"  so please let us all know how it goes.  My bucket list is getting completed...airplane trip done, bicycle riding done, hiking day done.  Some left on the list:  Water park rides, dance lessons, and renewing vows wearing my 32-year-old wedding dress.

I went to a water park about 2 weeks ago and I was fine. Heck, I went last summer at my heaviest and was ok then too. I think you will do great. Have fun!!

Thanks everyone!  I am looking forward to it.  After all my searching on google and all the great info here I still could find nothing.  Oh well, I'm gonna go have a blast!  I'll let you all know how it goes!
