Thank you. Being a new member, this information is always appreciated, I am here for info, not drama. I did have to block someone who sent me a CREEPY private message. I acyaully sent it to the moderators, but they never responded. Oh well. I blocked so that screwball won't be messaging me her filth anymore.
They probably didn't respond because they simply deactivated the "member". Every now and then, someone comes here and sends some either creepy or spam type emails, and the mods get the reports and just deactivate them. Fortunately it doesn't happen very often.

Yes, if you look at replies by others you will see that one of the options is "report". If you find something that violates the terms of service (no soliciting, no personal attacks, no lewdness, etc.) you can report it to the moderators. The page that comes up will ask you why you believe the post should be removed. The Report function is NOT, however, just to say "I thought this response was too snippy or is incorrect, etc."

P.S. it isn't always like this. Isn't most of the time in fact. We just have periodic bouts of new people complaining that "some people" are too harsh or whatever the complaint is, and when they make general statements like that (it is usually directed at the "vets") it annoys the vets who have been here a long time and yet keep giving of their time and know,edge to try to help (when most people disappear forever once they have lost most of THEIR weight).

Because we are Vets..... we have already been there.....not sure what you are looking for here???? one of us usually will have been through what another person has and can help them out, it is a term that has been used here for YEARS and we have actually earned it:) I am sure there are some that have experienced the same as you, many are Lurkers and choose not to post, I can see why!!! in the last few weeks the drama lama has visited this site a lot and now everyone will feel forced to but the zippers on. I thought Lora's post above yours explained it well. Denise
