Life can be exhausting, both good and bad. OT and somewhat ranting (UPDATED)

UPDATE: they elevated this to the highest manager for this contract and he contacted HR personally.  He was told that they did verify his employment information.  He then asked them to go back for the two specific periods in question and RE-VERIFY and explained that one of his project member had hired and fired him in 2006.   I hope to hell that they didn't verify EVERYTHING and they will find the discrepancy and "release" him when they DO.  

Otherwise we have to wait until he says something offensive enough to someone for them to report it to one of the managers (all of them are now aware of the issue).   

The good news is that I talked with my direct manager and I don't have to have any direct contact with him other than incidental contact.  He will take direction directly from her and will be assigned to our other senior person when he needs assistance.

Sounds like it wouldn't take  him long to say something offensive.  I'm sure he'll see someone with pretty feet and have to share about  his foot fetish.

Especially since it s summertime.  Unfortunately, it will take a number of inappropriate comments, even during his probation period, for them to take termination action.

Eventually, he will figure out who I am, I'm sure.  He has now seen my full name, so that is another "clue".  At first I didn't want him to recognize me, but now I don't care of he does... It might even be GOOD if he does... Might make him a little nervous at least, so maybe he will behave himself.

What a total creep! I would have everyone he says disgusting and suggestive things to, file formal complaints with HR. I'm sorry, but if someone said they had a foot fetish and followed it up by telling my I had beautiful feet, I would have been on freaking WINGS to HR and writing a complaint on a sexual hostile environment. And within 90 days you should be able to fire him very easily.

I also am disgusted he would be retained if he lied on his resume or application. We are VERY specific with our candidates, we tell them that even the slightest misrepresentation is grounds for dismissal at ANY point in their employment with us. I erred on the side of caution in my application (hired 10/31 one place but put Nov as my start date for example since I was in training on the 31st and did not go in my actual office until the 1st) and to just out and out LIE?!

HE HAS GOT TO GO!  Vent away-but please formally document this and submit it to HR. I am shuddering on your behalf for having to be around this creepy asshat!

If they have proof that he lied on his résumé, they will fire him.  I just cannot fathom how they wouldn't find proof, but...

I just hope that happens rather than is having to wait for him to say something offensive enough that someone is willing to report it.  When we were at the other company, he made the mistake of saying things to people who were not hesitant to complain. Some of the women in our office are young and ambitious and would probably not want to make waves.
