I haven't done Yoga in a number of years but I'm really looking forward to going to a class tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous and certain I won't be able to do half the poses yet, any words of confidence for me? Should I sit at the back of the class for my own peace of mind? I have so much energy lately and I'm trying a lot of things that I haven't in a long, long time, I just hope I'm not in over my head at only 6 weeks out! I was cleared for lifting and other various forms of exercise at my 6 week post op appointment today, so it's not that, it's definitely an embarrassed/conscientious thing...I really want to get into this as part of my exercise routine though, not just so that I can become more flexible and coordinated/balanced, but so I can find a relaxing form of exercise as well, in addition to my walking routine...Anyone else include Yoga or Pilates in their routine?

I waited 8 weeks post op and LOVE IT! I could never have done it at my old size! I put my mat in the front so I can watch the instructor. Don't hide in the back!

Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

Loved it!! I sat in the back as I just wasn't ready to be front and center bending over :P. It was a 45 min. class and it was pretty gentle so I will definitely be going back!

YAY FOR YOU!  I am so glad you enjoyed it! I have found I like the 75 minute classes best because I am so loose and able to do moves vs. the shorter classes where I am just getting to that loosey-goosey place and then it is over.
