Tried the new Healthy Indulgence chocolate calcium citrate
I had a $10 off rewards credit for Vitamin Shoppe so I ordered the new Healthy Indulgence chewable calcium citrate. Now, as a point of reference, I LOVE the BA raspberry chews (but think the other three flavors are just decent), think the Celebrate berry chews are ok (less flavor than the BA raspberry, though), and love both the lemon and chocolate Calcet Creamy Bites but the texture is slightly odd (doesn't bother me as much when they are refrigerated or frozen). I did not like either the cherry or chocolate BA calcium lozenges (cherry flavor was ok, but the chalky texture was horrible).
So... These are 500mg each in a small chocolate "coin" (about silver dollar size). The texture and flavor very much reminds me of the SF dark chocolate Hershey minis: not at all creamy, but a pretty good dark chocolate flavor. If someone were to just give me one, I wouldn't know it had calcium in it at all (which is a big plus in my book).
They were $16.99 for 30 at Vitamin Shoppe. Since I had the $10 credit for VS, I didn't bother to check prices anywhere else.

Thanks for the feedback. I love dark chocolate, so I will give them a try after I finish my other chews. Right now, I am trying for the first time the BA calcium citrate chews. Today I tried the caramel and chocolate, both which were good. I purchased the variety pack from Vitalady, so I'll try the raspberry and lemon next. I also purchased the Calcet Creamy Bites in chocolate and caramel. What a treat!
I tried these a few months ago and LOVED them. I agree they arent' creamy, but taste like dark chocolate and fill a need for a sweet for me. They are expensive and I didn't want to order them over the summer because I figured they'd melt in the mail, but I'll definitely be ordering more! Its an awesome way to get 500mg of calcium in.
