That's just the way weight loss works.

I also lost very little weight after 2 weeks and then decided to weight only once a week. I try not to focus too much on weight loss, although it is challenging...

I am 3 weeks out and haven't lost anything for two weeks. I keep following my doctor's instructions, and hope that it will pick up again soon. It is really discouraging though. I guess I am a slow loser 10 pounds in three weeks is great for someone without WLS but I really thought I would be losing more. You are not alone my friend don't give up. We can do it!!!!!

I feel your pain....I thought it was just me! I lost 14 lbs the first week, then only 3 more in the 2nd week, so I was having a pity party (and I'm the only one who showed up LOL).  So it's good support to hear that not everyone has the drastic/rapid weight loss that you sometimes hear about.  I'm sure it will pick up soon, and with more calories going in as the weeks progress, I'm sure it will be unpredictable. Hang in there!!! I like the advice of only weighing once a week - think I might take that!

Don't feel bad. I gained weight the past two days. You have to be prepared for things like this. If you're not, then you need to weigh yourself less frequently. I'm just interested in the day-to-day. I'm ready for fluctuations, stop-start, not necessarily lose-gain. We'll just see how it goes.

Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

I'm right there with you. We have been camping and I have been walking at least an hour a day with the dogs. We went home yesterday to do laundry and I was so excited to jump on the scale and nothing! I was so upset, wondering why I had this surgery. But with the amount og food here had I not had it I would surely gave gained a lot.

I'm 7 weeks out and hit a 3 week scale stall. I still lost inches because my clothes continue to become looser. Don't be a slave to the scale. My scale and I are acquaintances, but we're not best friends any longer.
