120 Down....Pictures

As of today I am more than 120 pounds down. I am 10 months out of surgery, no complication, and sooo happpppy! I cant even explain it. I have energy, I'm happy, I just cant explain how much I enjoy life now. And YET...I still CRINGE when someone takes a picture of me. I still HATE looking at pictures. I still see the 385 pound woman staring back at me. When does the mind catch up with the body? Anyone?

congrats thats AMAZING i weigh 385 as of today surgery is set for july 16th so many emotions i have lost close to 80 this past year 498 has been my highest i cant wait for surgery well just wanted to say congrats i am new to this site very helpful info cant seem to figure out how to upload photos so still working on that lol

For me it took plastic surgery and time for me to finally see myself as "average" in size. Hang in there. Most of us go through this. The mental part is definitely the hardest.
