shake recipes - full liquids
Why aren't you allowed to use another brand of shake that has a similar amount of protein and is low in sugar?
If you like coffee flavored drinks, try adding a spoonful of instant decaf coffee to your chocolate or vanilla shake.
Are you making them with milk? Try putting them in the blender with milk and a handful of ice cubes for a milkshake - type consistency.
Try adding chocolate or vanilla powder to sugar free hot chocolate or decaf coffee. To do that, mix your protein powder and a couple ounces of milk in a cup and stir well to form a smooth paste. Then slowly stir that paste into your hot drink.
Add PB2 (it's powdered peanuts) to a chocolate shake to make a chocolate peanut butter shake.
Add a spoonful of sugar free pudding mix to your shake to change the flavor. Or add sugar free syrups, like the kind you put in coffee drink. Or add flavored extracts, like coconut or peppermint, that you find the in the baking aisle of the grocery store.

I also had to do BA shakes while on full liquids. I had chocolate and vanilla, and also some samples of banana. My favorite was any of those flavors mixed with pb2. I also have some sugar-free hazelnut and irish cream syrups. I also liked the slight coconut flavor of making them with almond+coconut milk.

I am almost to solid foods; and not quite 6 weeks out. I also use only the BA brand. I add PB2 to my chocolate and absolutely love the change in the taste. Without the peanut butter, they are just too sweet. I use water, lots of ice and my Ninja ~ even though they don't recommend using the blenders because of volume. But, I can't stand the texture without ice and blending.
I've used almond silk since I'm lactose intolerant; but tend to stay with water more often than anything else.
SF syrups can help too. Tourani and davinci are widely available.
Hang in there. Believe me, with the 2 scoops and 2 tbsp of PB2 ~ that's 30 grams of protein. Well worth it, IMHO, to get 30 grams out of the way first thing every morning. I have an hour commute so I make it just before I'm out the door. Works well for me.
Good luck!!
