I am so private and polite that I never thought I'd be so excited at the ability to pass gas haha. It really has decreased alot of the pain in my shoulder and chest. I'm still pretty sore only being 2 days post op but at least for now I don't have those sharp stabbing gas pains

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

The morning after my surgery, one of the surgeons from my surgeon's practice came to see me during morning rounds. She asked if I'd started passing gas yet. I told her I was burping. She said "Wrong end, honey!"

i was soooo relieved ( literally ) when the gas started to uh...happen. I now pass it even when I don't want to. I was at a hillclimb with my hubby, I bent over to grab something of his from the ground and farted on a woman standing behind me. Oops.

Congrats on your surgery!
