The UC sent me to ER because the UC dr said it could be indicative of several potentially serious issues(!) since it came on so suddenly and involves so much if my body. So here I sit, waiting for a bunch of lab work to come back and to get taken for a CT. They are checking BNP (Which I had never heard of until today), kidney function, liver function, and a bunch of vitamins because of the RNY (even though I had some labs done 2 months ago). All I know so far is that the BNP is "only" 50 which rules out congestive heart failure and that it is unlikely to be a result of the lithotripsy since it has been a week, but they will contact my urologist if any of the labs show kidney issues.

Well, I'm glad you went.  I hope you don't end up there all night.
