OT: for those who wanted new Gus pics
He is very affectionate to me, of course, and also loves his grandma! True to his Chow nature, he is very wary of strangers, and sticks very close to me when someone unfamiliar is around, but he will warm up to visitors enough (after a while) that he will allow them to pet him and play with his toys with him. Right now he even more unsure of strangers, but many Chows go through this phase at his age. He has never met another dog that he didn't want to play with, though!
Mostly, right now he has a LOT of energy. Sometimes he gets too wound up while playing and nips me or slams into me (or slams himself into furniture) when he is racing around.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
