No no foods? Your trigger foods?

I had gastric bypass sugary in 2008. In 2007 I gained 60 pounds in a year. I was depressed and ate and ate boxes/bowls of cereal. So after my surgery I decided I will never eat cereal again. I haven't touched a bowl in over 4 1/2 years and don't ever plan on it again. I also don't eat rice at all.
What are your no no foods?

Trigger foods for me are  crackers.  Things like Cheezits, Triscuits, etc.  I do eat them occasionally, but I don't buy them.  I don't keep them in the house.  That means I rarely eat them.  When I was at my sister's 8 months ago, though, I did eat some Cheezits there.

The "joke" in my house is open box = empty box. If we want ice cream we have to go out and buy it...this doesn't happen often

Diet coke is a major trigger for me. It make me want to eat all kinds of salty snacks with it.

Oranges.

I cannot control myself with oranges. So I do not eat them.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

2 Years ago, it would have been a much different answer, but now it has become bananas. Healthy right? Wrong! Not when you eat as many as I can and have.

Cookies (except RF Nilla Wafers, because those aren't really cookies)!  I cannot have them in the house because I will eat them.  All of them.  In a very short period of time, even if I only take one cookie out fo the kitchen at a time.  I will wear a path in the carpet between the family room and kitchen.  I can "do" moderation with ice cream and chocolate and salty snacks 95% of the time, but not cookies.  Even 6 years after surgery.

Just call me "Cookie Monster".
