"Yes Whey" 100% whey protein bullets/shots - have now tasted all three flavors

Since LuckyVitamin.com had these on sale for less than $2, and I really don't feel like eating when these damn kidney stones start acting up (and end up eating too little or less-than-healthy items more times than not), I decided to get a few, so I ordered some of the grape and orange as well as the fruit punch (which I had already tried).  I am glad that i only ordered a couple of each because both the grape and orange are VERY sweet.  Almost sickeningly sweet (and I am almost 6 years out and not sensitive to sweet things as many early post-ops are).  The fruit punch was sweet, but not nearly as sweet.

So, if you are considering these, take that into consideration. Getting 25g of whey protein in 3 ounces of  RTD liquid for less than $2, though, is a pretty good deal.

Can you water them down or add them to diet sprite or something?    I haven't liked ANY of the fruit flavored powders I've come across, so I'd be willing to try this if it was okay.

I was wondering the same thing, if we can water them down.  Sounds like a good deal if one can get passed the super sweet which makes me gag over anything too sweet.

Sure, you can.  I don't know how it would taste.  Sometimes when I've tried to water something down, it hasn't really improved the taste and I just ended up with a lot larger amount of something gross-tasting to drink.  But you can certainly try it.

I'm sure you could water them down if you pour them out of the tube and into a glass, but that would mean more to drink, so you might as well just make a regular shake.

Good point!   I think I'll pass....I don't really need to drink my protein as I am doing well getting it in via food these days.  Its good to know its an option though.
