Good news times two!
Wow, you deserve a big applause for this!!!! What a hard working person you are and you deserve every bit of it, Lora.
I was at Bed, Bath and Beyond on Saturday and saw a new car just like the one you are buying except in a gun metal grey. It was beautiful. The lines of the car are gorgeous and it's one awesome looking vehicle. I have always been into cars as I came from a family of car fanatics, including my Mom and Dad. I was raised in the military and lived in France so the love of foreign cars was a given with three older brothers and 2 were into race car driving for years.
So even though I drive a German made car, good for you and congrats, Lora! Can't wait to see pics of the car. Jane
Ooh... I'd like to hear more about that.

Me too!! Great topic! My dissertation is Racial Disparity, Discrimination, and the Liberation Hypothesis: An Assessment of the Effects of Race on Judicial Outcome Controlling for Severity of Offense.

I am utterly weary of thinking about it at this point, but I appreciate people's interest. Once I have a few days to "detox" and NOT think about it, I will provide some info.

Yes... and, as my undergrad Honors Thesis advisor once told me (knowing that I tend to be a perfectionist about papers and other coursework), "sometimes good enough has to be".
