coffee?
Depends on who you ask. I personally see no reason not to have a cup now, if you want one, as long as you don't have ulcers (caffeine does not cause ulcers but can make them worse).
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
Depends if you are prone to ulcers according to my surgeon. I don't drink it but try to stay away from caffeine as I am very susceptible to ulcers. If you get one, it is not a good thing so take your choice.

My husband was given regular coffee, but he had to have it black, while in the hospital! He asked if he could put a tablespoon of protein drink in it and they said yes. So now that is a great creamer!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
