The Secret to Breaking a Stall (w/pics!)
I think I may have discovered the secret to break one of those mini-stalls--whine about it on your blog.
Yesterday, I posted a brief grouse about how I was so close to Onederland (201!), only my scale hadn't budged in a week. This morning I woke up and I'm 199 pounds. This has made me very happy indeed. I have no idea why the sudden drop. I was actually less active yesterday than I've been. After a long week, I felt exhausted. I took a nap and went to bed early.
Mind you, I'm not complaining! Here are how things are looking (please note the guest appearance by my #1 supporter, Oliver). I'm in Onederland, bay-bees! Woo hoo!!!
I've really only been walking and pedaling on a recumbent bike. I take my dog out in the morning and we do a mile (it usually takes about 30 minutes). Then at lunch I go to the gym we have at work and put in 40-45 minutes, mostly on the treadmill, but sometimes on the bike (depending on my mood).
I got a Fitbit about a week ago and I'm obsessed by it. My goal is 10,000 steps a day/5 miles, and I've hit it every day but one.
Thanks for the kind words. Best of luck with your journey.
You look fabulous! Congrats! I also really love your posture! That just reminded me to sit up straight!

Congrats on making it to onederland. You look awesome!! Stalls happen and there is very little you can do to make them NOT happen. You just have to keep pushing through, doing what you are supposed to and eventually the stall will quit. It will happen again and may last way longer than you can bear....but you just have to keep pushing forward. This is a new lifestyle.
