Carb/Sugar question

I have recently discovered the Glycemic Load eating plan and realized that the food plan my dr and nut have me following is the same. (They must have read the book) I eat complex carbs (about 80g a day). No pasta, breads, rice, cereal (grains) or potatoes. I eat at least 40g fats and 60g protein. I exercise at least 20 minutes daily to get my metabolism revved up. Works for me!!! The Glycemic Load Diet by Rob Thompson. (Don't get this mixed up with the Glycemic Index Diet. It is much different)
