Hi, I'm 6 weeks out today and I have a really hard time getting 4 chewable Calcium Citrates down.  How soon did everyone else start using the BA Calcium Citrate Chewy Bites?    I have no problems chewing my foods and I'm on stage 4.

You can get calcium citrate in liquid form - maybe that would be easier??

I thought about going to Vitamin Shoppe and going ahead and getting some until I can have these chews.... I guess I will call my doctor and see what they say about me eating the chews.  There was a sale on Amazon so I bought three packages of them.

I think my doctor said three months but not positive... I go see the nut next friday and maybe he will be able to tell me.

Thanks for replying

I use a combination of the Citrical petite pill forms and the liquid from The Vitamin Shoppe when I don't feel like swallowing pills. Its not that tasty but its tolerable. I have the strawberry liquid. I've also seen blueberry at the VS. I recommend the liquid form.

No problem here but just a comment about Celebrate brand.  The calcium bites get sticky and gooy.  Anyone else notice that?

I had trouble swallowing the pill form so I used liquid form from Costco.  Orange flavored and tasted like creamscicles.

If needed can you cut them into quarters and eat a bite at a time?  I didn't have problems with chewing mine after surgery.
