My kidney stones are uric acid, not calcium, so need scope procedure not lithotripsy

So sorry you are having these very painful problems.  You've been through a lot lately.  I hope your procedure goes smoothly (do you have a date for it yet?) and that your anxiety is not too bad.  Is there a female urologist who could do the procedure?

Thanks for the info about protein, that's interesting and useful to know that perhaps we don't need as much as has been recommended by some surgeons.  I struggle to get 50-60g daily, so that's a relief to know we don't need 90-100g.

Please let us know how your procedure goes.  Good thoughts headed your way.

They couldn't get me scheduled until June 19th!  I am just praying that none of the stones decides to move between now and then! (And there is only one female urologist in the entire city... And she isn't on my insurance)
