Hi !  I too, love your positivity!!  Did you ever struggle with a sweet tooth?  If so, do you have any tips on how you conquered that?  That is really what I am still struggling with.... in fact, any good tips on food substitutions would be appreciated too.... thanks!!  Congrats on your longtime success!!

Thank you Jen.  I did not struggle much with a sweet tooth as I did with rice and plantains.  Being originally from Panamá rice is staple ... we ate rice and beans and even added coconut milk to it almost every day and you can't have rice without some awesome tostones (fried ripe plantains) to go along with it ... I had to LEARN how to live substituting rice with brown rice or quinoa and drastically decreasing the amount.

I do like something sweet for balance also ... I have learned to make awesome no-bake peanut butter/oatmeal cookies with added protein and stevia (trying to cut down or eliminate splenda)... and I have found an awesome way to make a fat free Ricotta cheesecake that is to die for... another awesome recipe is the protein chocolate shake/cake that was shared on this site by an awesome DSer on the main board.  That I LOVE!!!

There are tons of awesome recipes on here that many have shared ... I try most of the ones that appeal to me and most are just awesome.  Not to fret ... there are tons of options and alternatives for us ... you'll see.

Wishing you nothing but the BEST on your journey ... again thank you so much for your encouragement and support.
