I love my Yonanas!!!     You can also freeze protein shakes in ice cube trays and run them through. I have only used the protein shakes I make with added frozen fruit because they are a thicker consistency.

I got my Yonana, froze some Dannon Carb Control strawberry yogurt, froze some bananas and strawberries and YUM, YUM, YUM!!! I am SO happy to have this with the summer coming soon. It was delicious!! Tomorrow I'm going to get some more fruits to have different flavors.

Thanks for posting about this!

I'm so glad it was good!

My kidney pain (just the back pain, not the excruciating, "they are trying to pass" pain) started acting up this afternoon, so I didn't feel like doing much, so I didn't make any.  I'm glad to hear that using the yogurt worked out well, though.  I have some strawberry and some vanilla already frozen to try out and have frozen strawberries, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries.

(I froze the cherries last summer, though, and didn't remove the pits before I vacuum sealed and froze them, so I will probably have to either buy some pitted ones or wait until they come into season again, because pitting frozen cherries doesn't sound like fun.  Sounds like an "I slit my finger open" moment waiting to happen, LOL.)

Um, yeah.....leave the cherries alone, LOL! The fruit that I love most is pineapple. The recipe book has one with pineapple so it must be OK to put through it. It is so fibrous that I was wondering about it. Berries will be in my freezer tomorrow too.

That really sucks about the kidney stones. My son-in-law gets them and the pain he goes through is terrible. I hope this is over for you soon.
