Has anyone tried putting frozen yogurt in a Yonanas machine?
I bought a Yonanas machine a few weeks ago, and although I really like it, I would like to be able to decrease the amount of banana but still have something creamy. I threw a container of vanilla Greek yogurt into the freezer, but am wondering if Nyone has tried this (and, if so, how successful it was),
BTW, if you use less ripe frozen bananas, it decreases the banana flavor, which is very strong if you use the "spotted" bananas as they suggest.

as watching the videos i would assume its fine because they added syrups and peanut butter and in-between constancy would be yogurt as long as you freeze it.
i just googled it and found this website, i think you'll like it! http://pumpkinprose.blogspot.com/2012/09/blueberry-graham-gr eek-frozen-yogurt.html
It is basically a special type of blender that looks a bit like a juicer where you put frozen bananas and other kinds of fruit in the chute, pu**** through the machine, and what comes out is similar in texture to soft serve ice cream. I say similar because although the bananas provide creaminess, the other fruit isn't creamy at all, of course, so when you stir everything up, the other fruit (I have only used berries and pineapple so far) lessens the creaminess. I could probably cut down on the berries, but I love berries, LOL. You can also do things like pineapple, mango, and papaya (without any bananas) for a natural fruit SF sorbet/sherbet type thing.
I got mine on sale for $40, but the normal price is $50. I have heard people say that they do the same thing in a blender, but I tried it and the bananas didn't have the same texture. It was much less creamy.
i love being ale to have a frozen treat that is nothing but freshly frozen fruit. No preservatives, no sugar added, no chemicals. Tomorrow I guess I will find out what adding frozen yogurt does.
