From couch to 5K...
I've just learned about this iphone app that got good reviews from a different group of friends. http://www.c25k.com You start out jogging 60 seconds and walking (briskly) 90 seconds, jog, walk, etc. The workouts take about 30 minutes (including a 5 min warm up and 5 min cool down), three days a week.

I have several friends who are doing this program and LOVE IT! One started it two years ago and now does marathons!
