DH (dearest husband) said NO!....
What an awesome and touching story Dania ... your grandma's quilt is forever priceless and I am so glad it is yours .... I am glad I read this this morning after getting home later than expected last night .... this really touched my heart and is such an awesome start to my day ... it reminded me so much about my nana back in Panama ... Keep that quilt for-ever.
"Sometimes little things such as a dress or a quilt that took time, love, and full-on emotion to make really make a difference to not only us but to those around us. :-)" I totally agree...
Thank you Janet... even with all his medical issues and his 'duffiness' LOL I wouldn't trade him for the world ... we are really meaning till death do us part here in love, loyalty and faithfulness... as we look forward to another anniversary of our years together ... my son (both my children are from my 1st marriage) is going to be 29 and Al has been in his life since he was 2 ... we have been together for a LOOONNNNGGG time and it seems like we just met yesterday at times.
That is great that you feel that "newness" of a relationship at times. My husband and I will celebrate our 24th anniversary next month, we lived together for 3 years before marriage, so it's been a LOONNNGGG time for us, too. :) It's hard to believe how quickly time flies.
My stepdaughter was a teenager when we met, and there's not a tremendous age difference (my husband is 15 years older) but I received the most beautiful, sentimental Mother's Day card from her...touched my heart
