Well, this pain has no subsided.  So I guess I will call the Doctor in the morning... I just wished I knew what it was... I am three hours from my Doctors office and I'm not sure if I should pack a bag or what.

I am hurting inside my stomach up high and if I try to lift my lift my leg to put it in my pants I get a sharp pain and I can't bend over without pain and its hurts to get up and down..

I am 17 days out today...  I doing better about my fluid and getting my foods in.  Still having trouble with protein drinks as they seem to kill my belly on the left side.  Pouch don't like it I guess..

If anybody can relate to what I am talking about with the pain, please let me know what your experience was?

Sorta scared, not sure what the outcome is going to be.

Thanks again

Andrea

Definitely try to see your doc and pack a bag just in case. I wonder if you could have a hernia somehow. Anyroad, you are not happy, and you deserve to be, so get that checked out!

I finally figured out that I'm now lactose intolerant!  That's what was causing me total discomfort! (I'm 13 days out.)

Could be several things you need to see the doctor to be sure. The pain I had like you are describing turned out to be a seroma. I had Seromas with my TT years ago as well so I was pretty sure what it was. With my TT they drained them several times. With the RNY the doc said my body would reabsorb it so he didn't want to do anything with it. I sat up one day and felt a "pop" inside and the pain was instantly gone. If that is what it turns out to be it's not a big deal, however, it could be a hernia, it could be adhesions, it could just be residual pain from where they went in and monkeyed around with their tools. The only way to know for sure is to see the doctor.

I hope you find an answer soon and get it resolved! Pain is no fun!

Are you constipated at all?   My partner was just having stomach pains today and called the on call physician.  He suggested she do a suppository and drink one tablespoon of milk of magnesia.  The suppository worked in about 10 min, and her pain has greatly lessened...

HI, I called the doctor this morning and they are having me come in tomorrow morning at 10.   I will be glad to find out what this pain is...   I will go ahead and pack a bag just to be on the safe side.   My husband is taking off to go with me.

Wish me luck... I am hoping its something simple.

Thanks again

I went to the doctor yesterday and I have managed to pull the muscles in the front of my stomach.  That is why the pain was so bad and why I couldn't bend over, and then when I couldn't bend straight over I started leaning to the left and getting what I needed that way and so therefore I have pulled the muscles in my upper left back...Then my left hip started hurting and I have pulled it to.   So pulled stomach muscles on the right, pulled back and hip on the left.   Leave it to me.. But I am so glad it was that and not something bad... Just thought I would let you know.

Hi, Andrea,

Thanks for letting us know! So you didn't need your bag after all....but I'm so glad you got to see the doc. I would think any pain in your stomach would be very worrying, so I'm glad you got it checked out. I hope you're starting to feel better!
