Surgery Monday
I can't believe that this is really happening. I keep thinking that I am dreaming. The hospital called to day to do the pre-register questions and to give me the time to be at the hospital. I have to be at the hospital at 6am, surgery is at 8am. I live about 2 1/2 hours from the hospital so I will be leaving home about 3am. Liquid diet has been rough. I feel like I am hungry all the time. I am so ready for this to happen and to begin a new journey in my life. I am scared and excited all at the same time. My husband is unable to be with me at the hospital because he will have to be at home with our kids.
Best of luck! My surgery is also Monday! But I havent had to do the liquid diet. Thank the heavens, only on Sunday I will need to be on liquids. I dont have a time to be at the hospital yet, when I went in for admissions they told me they will call Friday afternoon and let me know. I keep thinking I'm dreaming also! But the first day of the rest of our lives is coming up really quickly. I hope it all goes well for you! Keep us posted!
I wish you and all the rest the best that are having their surgery!! I know where you are at. I was there a year ago almost already and soooooo grateful to have had this surgery! Some of you will be fine, some of you may have it rough for a while, but don't get discouraged. It all will pass and you will be on your journey! I too have surgery on Monday and can`t believe that it is happening! My surgery is at 7:45 and I have to be there at 5:30 and I too have about a 2 hour drive. My surgery is in Utica, N.Y. Where are you having yours if you don`t mind telling. My liquid diet starts tomorrow, any advice? I am scared to manliy because of the surgery ( having kids) not the after part, i`ll take that as it comes. I hope you have someone going with you since your husband can not!
