OT: Gus (a few days short of 5 months)
No, unfortunately his nose is lightening up. You can see the lighter color coming in if you look at it closely. I don't think it is going to be terribly light, though... just not going to stay black.
His sire is over 70 pounds (and the dam is a decent size for a female) and my previous Chow (who was from the same sire) was 68 pounds. With all of those considerations along with his current weight, I suspect Gus may get closer to 75.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
So cute. We have an 11 week old dachshund that weighs 2 pounds, so the complete opposite end of the spectrum...lol!!

Gus is still a fuzzball, just bigger! My new little dog got her shots and was spayed on the 18th and was back to her usual self in about two days. She was finally able to have bath today and she was downright gritty from rolling in the sand at my daughter's home. They weighed her at the vet and she is 8.8 pounds and is full grown ay one year.
We have had three golden retrievers that all weighed around 120#.
Keep the pics coming!!
