I think you described better what I was trying to say. I'd venture to say many vets 5+ years out staying in their goal range will agree.

My pouch is not very sensitive, never has been but I've really listened to my body signals when it comes to how much to eat. The non-sensitive pouch could have gotten me in trouble had I not done so. Puking hasn't been a problem I've puked 4 times on the same food (beef roast) the first time almost 2 years out so I don't eat it anymore. Eggs are the only other food source I have to be careful eating.  And I don't like milk since it may make me feel horrible.

I am just at the beginning and have seen so many others lose more than me.  After carefully reading, I discovered that many list their starting weight before surgery when they lost quite a bit of weight, or the weight they lost when they left the hospital, using the weight inflated with fluids.  My starting weight was what I weighed when I went in for surgery, so this is actual pounds lost since surgery and I am doing fine.  Got stuck for a bit, but found out it was because I was not eating enough.  Got that straightened out and am on the losing track again.

Bookmarked the page as it is interesting.

Thank you!
