Unmotivated. Ugh. And up four lbs! Really?! STUPID RANT
Hey Dee,
You are being just a little bit harsh with yourself, don't you think? A few lbs isn't going to change anything. I am sure your pants still fit. Taking a few days off or a couple of weeks off isn't going to define you. Just make sure you get back on the wagon. Star****ching what you eat and worry about exercise later or not at all. It is more important to keep the carbs low and the protein high. Exercise will come when you are more in the mood. Regarding those dam hormones, boy can we all relate to that. Why don't men seem to suffer like we do. i can't count how many times I have just sat and cried...on the good days I found that my thyroid levels are through the roof too high or too low. Same with my energy levels, but sometimes it is just me being a women. I understand. I am trying to encourage and support you. You are already feeling better today, and if not you will tomorrow. But in the meantime check your blood work and keep the carbs low.
Hey Dee,
I am glad you are feeling better today. I agree with all the great encouragement everyone sent you, such nice sentiments. I also want to thank you for being so candid and willing to share your story. My surgery is coming up soon (Right now waiting on Dr to decide which he is most comfortable doing because of blood) and I know that I would not be so ok with everything if I did not have real people, real examples of the good, and bad moments to get through this. Your example in particular and your positive cheery spirit has been good motivation. No one is going to be 100% ok all the time, and that you post that and what you have done to overcome it is awesome. Love ya
