I am an appt misser mainly because of the children and something happening out of my control, but I was 1 hour early for my Psych evaluation waiting at the door and anxiously waiting to get in because I knew how bad I wanted my surgery

I see the annoyance of a no show...twice. I despise the psychiatrists Ive been in contact with and wouldnt hesitate to no-show them on anything...anything except requirements pertaining to this surgery.

That would irritate the heck out of me!  I used to be late for everything...appointments, work, parties, or whatever was going on in life.  After I had a child, it seemed really important for me to set a good example in life.  Well, in most things.  My weight has been a long time coming, but hopefully, it's not too late to set a good example.  I am often early for appointments now.

Hi Lora,

You sure would think someone who wanted this surgery would be "Johny on the spot" with appointments !!! unless he/she is having second thoughts or doesn't feel it is the right time for surgery , but you would think that an explaination would be given !!!

How is your knee? I had hip replacement 10 weeks ago and am having first knee replacement in a month or so...not fun but I do feel better

Hope you are well
