What the ##@@$$$????? What gives??????

does it open? cause i have totally different ideas if it does. 

i would paint it (probably a bright color like pink or turquoise because that's how i am), or mod podge pictures on it. like if i was using it as a bench in my bedroom i would mod podge the pictures from my old alexander mcqueen calendar or fashion ads from vogue. maybe just cover the front and paint the reset. then do the cushion like you intended. 

if it opens you could turn it into a really neat organizational thing.

i tried looking on pinterest for cistern crafts but nothing came up. 

It does not open ... I can't find where it would and then there is this thing like a pipe or used to be faucet of some sort coming out the top of it .... it also has a pipe running along the base ... and it seems like solid concrete... I swear it scared the crap out of me once I uncovered it and my friend Mary who my house reminds her of the homes of her childhood told me what it was ... then I asked my friend Diana and her husband corroborated that it was indeed a cistern ....  I am loving the idea of mod podge pictures on it .... I could certainly collage pictures and then cover it which acrylic glaze to preserve ....  turquoise and pink are fave colors of mine .... I love this idea....

i love repurposing things! i'm making everything for my sister's bridal shower (mostly in procrastination of finishing my thesis) so i'm in complete crafting mode. especially with pictures since i'm trying to come up with a good addition to both my individual gift and the bridesmaid gift involving pictures. i'll let you know if i think of any other ideas
