Slider foods
Slider foods is anything wet and slippery, like yogurt, pudding, mashed potatoes, soup, etc. Basically, imagine your pouch being like a funnel. If you put soup or pudding in the funnel, it will drip out pretty quickly, right? In other words, it will slide right through. That's a slider food. Now, if you put chewed up chicken or tuna salad in that funnel, it takes a lot longer to slide through.
They get absorbed the same as other foods. they get absorbed in the small intestine.

Kelly already gave you a great answer. Slider foods are common right after surgery because it is easier on the stomach for most people, but long term you will want to try to eat denser foods because 1) most protein (yogurt and milk aside) comes from denser items (meat, beans, cheese), and 2) they will keep you feeling fuller longer and therefore lessen the chances of you wanting to eat between meals.
