IS IT TRUE YOU LOOSE YOUR HAIR AFTER WLS?

A simple Google search will show you, yes, your hair does thin out drastically but you don't actually go bald or anything.

It's your body's natural reaction to the hormone change.  It grows back.

Any surgery for me and child birth.  I lost after my gallbladder, rny, and both rounds of plastics.  They say it is the curse of thick hair when it sheds it really sheds.  I have it short again and I love it better now, was trying to grow it back long but growing out is sooooo boring.

Most of us lose a noticeable amount from about months 3-9. Some people do not lose much, other lose a ton. I was somewhere in the middle. I lost from months 3-7 and then could see lots of regrowth by month 9

It will stop. It just seems like it won't. Mine finally did and looks nice and healthy. I'm do glad, cause I had read that sometimes it comes back in bit not as healthy as before. Mines looking good so far!

Yes and it's a bi##h ! I'm just 5 months out and my hair started FALLING out this week!! It has me so depressed. Hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones without much hair loss--I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
